High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) offers many advantages and many disadvantages when compared to alternate materials. My focus on selling HDPE has led me to many applications where the benefits greatly outweigh the potential downsides.

6 Vandal proof? Paint doesn’t stick well to HDPE and graffiti can clean off more easily than alternate materials – the lumber is color through so a gauge doesn’t reveal an alternate material or become a failure spot
While consideration needs to be made specifically for HDPE’s non-structural nature, and expansion and contraction. The resulting applications offer long term attractive products for commercial level use.
